February 2018
Dear Chalice Lighter,
The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Northern Nevada (UUFNN) will be the recipient of your generous donations to the Winter 2018 Pacific Central District Chalice Lighter call to provide a new sound system.
UUFNN stands at the precipice of an exciting new beginning. A new settled minister is starting, attendance is up, and energy and enthusiasm for a bright future is riding high. Visitor numbers are up and worship has taken on an engaging new vibrancy. The atmosphere is charged with excitement and optimism. Volunteers are stepping up to take on new projects that were previously only a distant wish.
In the midst of this exciting time, the sound system in their Great Room has outlived its usefulness. The congregation wants and needs to better serve all who would hear their messages and music as well as better serve the hearing impaired. A new sound system would also raise the level of professionalism of their worship, capitalize on the current growth opportunity, and demonstrate the high value they place on inclusiveness. Dynamic, engaging, relevant, and meaningful worship that can be easily heard will contribute to the growth of Unitarian Universalism in Northern Nevada.
Can you afford to give $20? We are grateful for whatever you can contribute. Payments will be accepted towards this call through March 26. Ten percent of each call reimburses expenses to administer the program. If you prefer to make your payment online, please see the donation link. Or mail your check, payable to PCD Chalice Lighters to: PCD Chalice Lighters, 7511 Greenwood Avenue North, #414, Seattle, WA 98103-4627. Please write PCD CL on both the memo line of your check and on the payment envelope. Questions may be directed to your PCD Chalice Lighter Coordinator, Karen Urbano at pcdchalicelighters@pwruua.org. Thank you for your donation!
Sincerely yours,
Karen Urbano
